WHITE-TAILED BUCK BY SCHLEICH

The White-tailed Buck by Schleich is a realistic representation of this herbivore. Deer graze mornings and evenings and feed on green plants and nuts. They live in small groups with usually only the mother and its calves. Male deer have large antlers and live in seperate small groups of three or four other males. Both the male deer and doe have a red-brown coat in the summer and a grey one in the winter. Deer populations can get so large that they cannot find enough to eat bacause they dont have many enimies. They have four stomachs and ruminate half-digested food, which allows them to digest twigs, unlike most animals. Dimensions: 3.9 x 1.8 x 4.1 inch (W x D x H).
