Handmade Stoneware Oyster Shell Shaped Platter, Grey

A large handmade stoneware platter in the shape of an oyster shell, glazed green, with the fluting running out to a properly irregular edge.

At platter scale the shell shape stops being a novelty and becomes sculpture. It is the piece that goes in the middle of a table and does not need anything on it.

Handmade, so the size, the glaze depth and the edge all vary from one to the next. Good for oysters, obviously, but better for cheese.
