Roman Amusements Lighted Musical Ornament with Rotating Train

An oversized ornament with a train running laps inside it.

The ball opens onto a lit winter village, and a small train circles a decorated tree at the center of it without stopping.

Carols play underneath. It is the kind of piece that is bought for a child and then kept out on the sideboard long after they have stopped watching it.
