Stoneware Planter w/ Octopus, Reactive Glaze

A stoneware planter with an octopus curling around it, finished in a reactive white and blue glaze that pools in the sculpted arms.

Reactive glaze does the work here. It breaks pale over the raised tentacles and deepens in the hollows, so the sculpting reads clearly and every pot comes out different.

Holds a 4-inch pot. Ferns and trailing greenery suit it; so does leaving it empty on a bathroom shelf.
